What is our ESP mentorship programme?
Our ESP mentorship programme is designed to help neurodivergent apprentices and job candidates in their search for employment. This includes researching companies, preparing for the recruitment process and adopting a strength-led focus for increased productivity. It is a three-step programme, centred around Empowerment, Strengths and Positivity. It typically runs over three weeks, with a one-hour session per week and out-of-session activities. However, we are happy to adapt the logistics to your requirements. You can also request the programme to be converted into a workshop for up to five neurodivergent apprentices or job candidates.
The brief details are as follows:
1: Empowerment: Feeling in control rather than being controlled by unfamiliar situations. This can include areas such as researching a company, being aware of your entitlements and knowing how to write a CV and covering letter.
2: Strengths: Identifying individual strengths and how to focus on and use them to overcome weaknesses that aligns with these strengths.
3: Positivity: How to approach setbacks and pitfalls with a positive mindset. For example, a can-do attitude, seeing positive opportunities in adversity and how to develop these opportunities.
